With the recent heat, the roses have really taken off. It's been very challenging to capture their sheer abundance and exuberance, so we've tried a few panorama shots. You may have to stretch your browser window open to see them in their entirety. Or just click them to visit our Flickr page.
Top: the single Polka rose bush in the cottage garden is just getting started, already bursting with saucer-sized blooms…
Bottom: We started training Sally Holmes climbers over the trellis that runs the length of the Mediterranean Garden. They haven't yet reached the top of the trellis, but are already blanketing it with blossoms.
