April Showers Bring… Garden Parties?

In April and May, the slow windup that begins in late Winter culminates in a glorious explosion of color, texture and scent. Which means it's a great time to have visitors. We've had a number of lovely tour groups visit us, and while we were at it we threw a big birthday party. Our wonderful friend David has already so eloquently captured the day in prose and photos on his blog that we'll just let him tell the story. He even got pictures of the food (provided by the always amazing Gale's Restaurant in Pasadena) and adds a receipe! Click here to read David's blog post.

After everyone left we took a few more shots which really do little justice to how the Gardens have clothed themselves this year…

Thanks, Heather! I appreciate the link to my post but you are the magician who made it all happen! My shots don't even come close to capturing all the beauty your gardens display. Your talents are amazing and I am grateful that you share them with me - with all of us! David
